Smokey Bear

"Smoky Bear visited our Library in the summer of both 2018 and 2019. The Division of Forestry offers free educational visits from Smokey (along with other programs). The Ranger that accompanied Smokey spoke about fire safety, provided coloring books and stickers, and answered questions from our participants. Smokey was very engaging and interacted well and appropriately with our patrons. The team arrived early and stayed until all questions were answered and requested photos were taken.
